We asked one of our favorite voices in the astro-creative space to weigh in on a few questions that mix the mystical with the personal—because where there’s astrology, there’s always a story.
Imagine Georgia as a zodiac sign. Which sign would capture its spirit the best?
“If I had to give Georgia a sun and moon, it would be a Taurus sun with a Cancer moon,” they said. “Taurus, because our country is known for its beauty and aesthetics—our cuisine, wine, dance, mountains. Taurus rules the five senses, and Georgia embodies them all. We’re also famously stubborn, proud, and deeply rooted, just like the sign. As for the Cancer moon—it speaks to our love for family, for friendships that feel like family. Our hearts are full, maybe even too full. We care deeply, and that means we can take things personally. Cancer is the ‘mother’ of the zodiac, and the word for mother—deda—is sacred here.”
Which zodiac sign is the most misunderstood—and which one is the most over-romanticized?
“The two Saturn-ruled signs, Capricorn and Aquarius, are often misunderstood. They’re shy, slow to open up—but once they do, they surprise you with their unique, quiet humor. Scorpio is another misunderstood one. As for the most over-romanticized? Libra. They come off light and airy, but they’re incredibly strategic. They play the long game in silence.”
What’s the weirdest or most unexpected DM you’ve ever received?
“Someone has been trying to contact me for years—through my parents, collaborators, even professional emails—convinced we’re meant to be best friends. It feels like harassment, but it skirts the line. Another person messaged me for a whole month as if we were in a relationship. I never responded. Eventually, she started sending nudes. That’s when I blocked her. It was… unsettling.”
Top five zodiac signs? Who’s on your list—and who just missed it?
“This is tough because I genuinely like every sign. But if I had to choose, based on the people closest to me, I’d say Capricorn, Virgo, Aquarius, Gemini, and Pisces. Leo and Cancer would fall lower—not because I dislike them, but because I just haven’t had much personal experience with them.”
